The 1st Carrom World Cup was held in Luton, United Kingdom in the year 2002, and has been organized ever since every four years under the ICF. World Carrom Cup is the third most important tournament in the game of Carrom.

The International Carrom Federation (ICF) is an association governed by Swiss law founded in 1988 in Chennai, India.
